Re: All in one pro USB port...

You will be lucky if there are pads left to solder onto, at least 2 of mine lifted completely off so I have nothing to solder onto. I was lucky.. Maybe hot gluing, before it breaks would help!? That's exactly what I did after the repair http://dl.dropbox.com/u/65924/Screenshot/Photo%2029.8.2012%201...

I think I don't have the buyers remorse but my question is, what firmware should I use and is there any way to get data from the multiwii to the Tx or can I get the...

BE CAREFULL with that all in one Pro board. More than one have had the USB connector fall off. If that happens you are stuck making up your own cable to connect an FTDI adapter anyway. Not fun. Thanks for the tip! I am picking it up tomorrow, should I put a glob of hotmelt glue on the usb port to s...

Re: 2.4 ghz range?

It will be different for all receiver/transmitter combos as well, best bet is to run a servo test on your radio (assuming you have a computer radio) then walk or drive the receiver in line of sight (with servo and battery attached) out until it starts glitching. Use google maps/earth to figure out ...

I am about to embark on my first quad build, and was wondering about the range of 2.4 Tx. Is there some tool I can use to measure or is it just a general range?

My brother bought a Parrot AR.Drone 2.0 and I must say flying it with a phone (iPhone) tablet (iPad) is in my opinion ridiculous. So I started looking into RC moddin...
