Thanks, i ended up going for the HobbyWing Skywalker 20a esc and the DT700 700kv motor from hobbyking. Got some 11x4.7 props to go along with it.
I have a 2650mah 3s batt on order as well.

Re: My Balsa Wood Frame
After a quick calculation or two, i determined that my flight weight will be close to your 1300g.
I am using 700kv motors (DT700 hextronik) and 11x4.7 props. with 20a hobbywing escs.
All my parts are on the way now, but my hobbyking shipment is delayed due to the backordered turnigy 9x

Need help choosing motor/esc combo.
Sorry, huge newbie here. I have everything but the motor and esc for my quad that i am building from scratch. I have done hours of research on the best, economical motor/esc to get, but in the end, i have no idea what to buy. Are there any go-to combos that are relatively cheap and good quality? Lin...

Has anyone used these cheap HK ESCs?

For six bucks apiece, these seem too good to be true. Does anyone have confirmation that these are good quality?
Also, for a budget Qcopter, should i splurge and spend 10-15 apiece and get some turnigy escs or are these fine?

Re: My Balsa Wood Frame

I did a little animation on how i constucted this one. http://www.quadrocopter.at/fotos/quador-rahmen2.gif Right now iam using aluminum instead of balsa, because it seems to be more stable and just mounted my paris board on a balsa plate, to get rid of vibrations...

Clone Wii Sensors, or original?
Is it recommended to go for the Wii clones for a lower price, or to opt for the original wii components? Are there any known, reliable Wii MP clones available. (my first time working with these, so it would be nice if it matched up with the instructions exactly.) EDIT: Also, Is it preferred to use o...

Help with Motor/ESC/RC
I am building my first Multicopter, and have quite a few questions. Sorry if this is in the wrong place, or they have been answered before. 1. What type of motor should i purchase? I was thinking about these m For the price ($18) are they good? Is there a better option for me? My frame which i built...

Is it possible to use an arduino uno with multiwii?
I currently have an Uno, and was wondering if i could use it to control my qcopter with the multiwii platform. if so, what would the pinout be like. Would it be the exact same numbers as the pro mini?
