6 V afros will fry the Naze32 pretty quick. I have also had problems connecting USB to the Naze and then connecting and disconnecting power whilst the TeamKVOSD is connected up. I disconnect power from the minimOSD now before i mess around with USB and stuff.

Will this board allow for more serial ports to be used with baseflight? If i'm honest the only limitation that i notice with the Naze32 hardware at the moment is the lack of serial ports. I suppose without an onboard magnetometer there is no risk involved with putting the buzzer right on the board like that?

Read the naze32 manual; m Look at the section on flashing the firmware. If it doesn't seem too tricky to follow then give it a go. Cheaper more flexible props will produce more vibrations that will negatively effect sensors on your flight controller. Dialing back the P value on pitch and roll will help compensate but the multirotor wont fly as well.
The HQ props are much better than the gemfans in my experience.

You can use the TeamKVOSD firmware on the MinimOSD to alter PID settings via the OSD display so you might be able to live without bluetooth if you get the OSD working fully.
