Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Perhaps rather than whinging, someone should log a feature request for the configurator: "ability to preserve and restore, or at least dump previous board settings prior to flashing new firmware"? Me, I appreciate all the hard work that's going into this. Once GPS support is solid, Cleanf...

Yeah sorry not much more info on the module itself. Thought someone may have come across the problem before. Have emailed Paul as well. I suspect from something I read way back it is the 3 + getting in the way and there is a way to change that in BF / CF I think. Anyways Paul will have an answer I h...

Bluetooth config
Hi all I have a new BT module from Paul at Whitespy. When it connects it is sending +CONNECTING<<20:13:e0:c2:88:82 +RNAME=YP-G70 +CONNECTED to the Naze32 and Flip32 boards before the mutltiwii commands start. This is putting them into firmware program mode. Does anyone know how to prevent the BT mod...

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Thanks Dominic. I guess that raises some interesting issues regarding the copy/paste method of restoring settings. 1. It's quite possible that small yet vital settings could be missed by this overflow (something that also may not be obvious in the GUI like the Aux settings not coming back) 2. It pay...

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Not sure if this is a bug or not with saving Aux setup Latest Cleanflight and Chrome configurator. Run dump in CLI, copy paste all to a file and save. Reset board to defaults Restore dump file via copy/paste No Aux setup is restored and I get this error in the CLI # profile 0 profile 0 # 0 900 900 U...

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Dominic, are you aware that there is quite a lot of anger, frustration and resentment over the forced use of sliders? Lots of discussion on the rcgroups thread, starting here: m There is a balance to be found between providing backwards compatibility, fixing bugs, cleaning code and adding needed fe...

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Its can also take 3 or 4 goes to flash successfully - which may be another issue. This is worrying and may be the cause of your problems, perhaps the flash is worn out on your old board? I would like someone else to confirm there is a problem with the latest code on the rev2 board. The same board/c...

Can you log an issue in Github? Just to be sure mention the configurator in the case too.

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Can I download an earlier version from somewhere and see where it breaks? Hi, there's an unofficial Jenkins server @ http://ci.esav.dy.fi/job/Cleanflight/ . Maybe you can find a version that works for older revision board there, please report if you have. It breaks after #149 October 7th Its can al...

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Hi Dominic and all I have an older green (rev2??) Naze32 full board that has quite happily been running Cleanflight - until I updated it today to the latest version. Now all it does is alternate the red/green leds and won't connect to the configurator or reflash. If I short the bootloader pins and f...

Re: S BUS connection
Just tried this on the latest Cleanflight (updated via Chrome config)
feature rx_serial
set serialrx_provider = 2
For some reason rx_serial will not save. No problems that I can see with rx_ppm etc saving

Re: MultiWii OSD - MWOSD
Howdy all, some newbie questions that I haven't quite got to grips with I bought a Witespy board ages ago and it appears to have minimosd on it (the Arducam config app connects and configs the layout etc) To load mwosd firmware it looks like I first need to do that via Arduino? Can I use the same us...

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Just changed both of my 250 quads (Mogo250 and a Spanky) to pid_controller = 2, I have to say that they both feel really great with this setting, very locked in and good smooth controls. Both using pids 'out of the box'. Liking CF more and more - cheers Dominic!

Re: Cleanflight aka Multiwii port to STM32 F10x and F30x
Having moved my 250/260 quads over to Cleanflight with great success I'm now starting a 400 build with a full Naze32 board that will also be Cleanflight. On my acro's I used the align_board_yaw =-90 so I could easily access the usb connector from the side of the frames. If I do that with the full Na...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hi all This is probably my first post on these forums (been over in *other* places ) Just a question on some older Naze32 hardware. I've had a green board with no rev number on it in a draw gathering dust. I think it may be a rev2 or 3 but certainly no later. I updated it today to the latest firmwar...
