My main reason is available time, me and Carlo have our family´s to take care of... we need to have fun keeping our pace without any obligation to assist and support CN factories So you close the source because of that ? Re: MultiWii Antenna Tracker

I've made an antenna tracker that works with Multiwii MSP, Ardupilot MAvlink, Openpilot Uavtalk and a home made light protocol for low baudrate link ( like audio modem @ 1200 bauds ). I'll add FrSky & NMEA protocol too in a few. m All the doc is not up to date anymore. I've reworked the whole th...

Re: UART Radio project

What about using the rmf22B/rmf23bp modules directly plugged through ISP fc and feeding rc&serial data directly ? This should optimise delays of the last step serial>ppm>fc conversion. Those RF modules cost less than 15$, this would make a really cheap & effective solution. No need of anothe...

That's it msev.

If your antenna tracker at neutral position point to 40° reference to north, just enter 40.

I've added a new method to set bearing reference to north.

Now you can setup the angle manually from any external compass ( real one or your smartphone one )

Re: SW Development on Minim Osd

Yes I think using Default ( 5v) analogReference is far sufficient for 3.3v output range considering the resolution loss is not really problematic with the informations we needs. Perhaps it would be more secure to default it to Default and not Internal. Some peoples will plug their 3.3v following the...

You're welcome trello.

I'm agree about LCD stuf should be more generic and gives ability to use different type of hardware.
Perhaps adapting Multiwii lcd implementation is the easy way to go ?

I have an i2c oled device that could fit well too here.

Re: SW Development on Minim Osd

Hi guys , quick question here. By looking at your scheme here: m I see you send the 3.3v sensor/rssi range to the adc input trought just a 1kohm resistor. This is not supposed to drop down voltage under 1.1v isn't it ? By checking the code you use the Internal 1.1v Aref voltage. This looks a bit sus...

That's a pity but it's your choice of course.

As Multiwii is GPL, binary distribution without source is not an option, does this means you will develop a new flightcontroller code from scratch ?

The OpenPilot project perspective on porting.[/url] In a nutshell, they rely on flight controller hardware sales to keep the project going. They write the code and they generally do not wish for it to be ported. Seems they're a little bit more flexible now, the STM32F4 + mpu6050 patch is in review ...

Hi EosBandi, I use a mtk3339 here. Is there some parameter I can setup on miniGPS to activate binary protocol ? Or do yo...

Re: Vtail Y4 PID tuning or mixing?

You should try to use the patch I've made for dynamic Vtail mixing and try those différent configuration. If you don't want it to fly like a tri, but more than a quad you should use at least the Yaw compensation, and if you want the Roll &pitch too. Use the patch below: http://www.multiwii.com/f...

Yeah ,please just use this for Vtail for the 2.1 before integrating the patch.

motor[0] = PIDMIX(+0,+1, +1); //REAR_R
motor[1] = PIDMIX(-1, -1, +0); //FRONT_R
motor[2] = PIDMIX(+0,+1, -1); //REAR_L
motor[3] = PIDMIX(+1, -1, -0); //FRONT_L

cheers

Ok, I understand your view because in your setup the prop turns in the opposite direction. The one currently in multiwii is based on the QUADX propeller rotation direction. This is the logic behind. There is no wrong or right setup. OpenPilot implementation is just different. I changed prop turns d...

Re: Let's try to release 2.1: first try based on r949

Hi Mixer for Quad Vtail is not optimal here because it doesn't take in count the 40° motor angle and torque yaw force is in opposition to 40° motor thrust. Motor rotation should be inversed in comparison to a normal quad: http://img4.imageshack.us/img4/4213/vtailnewmix.jpg at least Yaw mix should co...
