Re: stable mode tuning
Seems like if I have Pitch and Roll P high enough so the QUAD doesn't move.. if I wiggle the stick or a gust of wind cause it to tilt more than 20 to 30 degree or so, the FC goes nuts and flip the QUAD. If I reduce the Pitch and Roll P low enough that it doesn't flip, it wants to drift.

stable mode tuning
I adjusted PI in level, the quad seems to more or less stays in one area. I was trying to see how far I can push the quad in this mode by rocking the quad with the stick. Once I got it going using stick movement, it flip. If I am in ACRO mode, when I rock the stick, the quad respond and does not fli...

I don't seems to be able to get this perm set. When I switch the baro on, the quad will start to do a slow yoyo effect. I started to decrease P to 2, than on one of the yoyo, it shuts motors. If I increase P to 5, it also shuts motors. The yoyo rate remains the same no matter which direction P chang...

With the suggestion from icedfusion to set the ITG3200 low pass filter to 42hz, the machine will fly now.

Re: CW motors not spinning correctly
yes, at half throttle, they are all spinning... GUI shows all about the same. However, after I have it at high rpm, as I bring it down, the two CW motor stops at about 25%..

Thanks for the reply.. there are spinning the right direction.. just the CW ports are having the problem. Since the problem follows the port and not the ESC and motor, I wonder if a step I missed somewhere.
thanks

Re: CCW motors not spinning correctly
Swap any two of the three motor wires on the motors you want to reverse ! Also you need to caibrate all 4 esc's with transmitter and plugged in the throttle channel with the props off motors so you dont cut yourself!!! The motor wires are already swap. I plug in each of the ESC direct to the thrott...

CW motors not spinning correctly
I hope this is the correct forum for this, sorry if I post in the incorrect area. I just completed a MultiWii 2.1 build using a RCTimer RM450 2830-1000KV 30a ESC, Crius SE v0.2 board. Testing the system without props, I discovered the two CW motor (D3, D9) is not spinning correctly. After the system...

Re: GPS integration
glad to hear that, it would be great if you could test if battery would hold from weekend to another(6-7 days), that's about as long as we put our models unpowered, if it can only hold a day or two... it's too short. EOSBandi EEPROM hack is 'a must' then. thanks or replace the ML614S with a ML2016....

Hi Guys, I have a Crius 1.0 board with RCTimer I2C board with RCTimer GPS. I am having problems getting the GPS configurations to stick to my board. It looses the configurations even though I saved the configurations in U Center. Do you think that there is a problem with the EEPROM? I can get the C...

I had navigatron i2c soldered to Crius SE board, (via wires offcourse, not directly). because crius SE doesn't have i2c pins, so it can't be just plugged in you have to take care which voltage option are you choosing, low or high side of LLC, also make changes on navigatron, because of battery char...

Re: GPS integration
2 dr.tom,
Thanks for the info, what MultiWii board are you using?
According to RCTimer's picture of their i2c interface at their website, it is pluged into the CRIUS SE board's UART port. Can someone confirm if this is correct?
Thanks for your time.

@ dr.tom, The flytron looks like a serial GPS?? no??
Did you connect that to the rctimer i2C board? if yes, what code are you using on the i2c?
thanks for your time.
Board currently being used are CRIUS SE v0.2, CRIUS GPS serial, CRIUS i2C NAV board

Yes.. something like that. How can I modified to use a AUX as input instead of using the throttle channel?
Dynamic is even better... meaning it is adjustable, correct?
thanks

Re: Helicopter integration
Hello Patrik,
Is there a way to remotely change the rate if the FC? I see some of the commerical 3 axis gyro can change different rate for different flight condition. Would be great if somehow that can be done with the MultiWii..

If there is no collective input from the Tx and since throttle is used for alt control, I don't think there is much use to have the collective servo route thru the multiwii. Hello Patrik, in your earlier post, you mention that MultiWii is for FBL only. If I have a flybar helicopter, if I change the PID value to 0,0,0 for Nick and Roll... that should stop the gyro and acc from providing correction and let the flybar provide stablization. Than only correction is left is t...
