Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

I wasnt trying to be a dick. (Actually I was...) I want to see you succeed, but you need to start with the basics, don't go worrying about f3 discoverys and hardware mods until you are comfortable with your existing equipment. The reason I was being a dick was because you asked for more detail. Abug...

Help out a fellow copter nerd.

Hi, I'm doing an assignment and need to gather some info about multi rotor users. Can you please take 2 minutes and fill in this short (8 question) survey?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Need Crius AIOP shemlatics and brd files

but this isn't really diy, using existing files to build a board won't really accomplish much but waste time. if your goal is to get better at placing components on a board go for it, but this is about as DIY as assembling a piece of IKEA furniture.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

I guess if you are really keen you could use the STM32 scripting engine with the C scripting language to set waypoints in your GPS. Probably a bit of mucking around though.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

Alongside? no. what you want to do is get rid of the naze and get a wookong M for flying waypoints.

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread

blue is power. green is 'armed' or various status indication depending on what your doing. red comes on when you have levl/horizon and maybe some other flight modes turned on.

Re: Binary Encoding of Aux-Channels

No, I think this is a neat idea.
Historically, multiwii has not been that excited about adding more aux channels though.

Hamburger replied while I posted, but I still think this is a worthwhile idea

Re: What makes Naza 'better' than Multiwii

Yeah, the response on here isn't what I expected. Saying that this is just an attempt to cause a "flamefest" is a bit disappointing. I have a Mutiwii, and am battling to get it stable. I see most Naza guys get it right straight away, and aren't doing AP. They're flying - hard! Saying &quo...

Re: What makes Naza 'better' than Multiwii

Well, multiwii has never really been "appealing", just free. And runs ( to whatever extent) on tons of hardware that's cheap and readily available, and not manufactured by a douche.

Re: BT on MultiWii

use the ftdi adaptor to connect to teh bt module. start a terminal session to that serial port (not via bluetooth). issue some command to set the bt serial side to 115200. (AT+BAUD8) or something.
