Re: Alt. Hold Ideas and discussion
Hi guys, I'm trying to get the latest alexmos version running to use sonar, but when I upload it and look in the GUI, I am not getting any trasmitter/receiver data. Everything else seems to work fine. Any ideas? With the "official" multiwii releases everything is just fine... Also, I just ...

Re: Motor/Rotor Adapter
Depending on what your shaft diameter is you need the following: http://www.goodluckbuy.com/4-mm-plane-fixed-pitch-propeller-adapter-shaft-bullet-typey-4-pack.html You can get these on ebay and from most model shops. Either measure the diameter of the motor shaft, or has your motors got a model num...

Motor/Rotor Adapter
Hi all, the little metal bit that attaches the rotor to the motor broke and I have had a hard time finding a replacement part. I was wondering if these have a name I might be unaware of and if anyone has a recommendation on where to get them. The original quad is here: m It was actually bought on eB...

Code Help
Hi everyone, I was wondering if there are any good resources where I can learn more about programming the multiwii? I have looked through the code but a lot of it is gibberish to me. What I would like to do for now is to just be able to write a simple program myself to read the altitude value from t...

Re: Autonomous Flight
it seems like it would be fairly simple to use all the given hardware and sensors (although I'm sure sonar would be more accurate) but just use modified code. For example, put in code that says ground alt = estimated alt desired alt = ground alt + 2 (in meters, or whatever) while estimated alt < des...

Autonomous Flight
Hi all, I have been playing around with a quad using a MultiWii SE board and your standard TX/RX combo but I would like to make it autonomous. My immediate goal is to simply to have it hover at a given height for say 10 seconds and then land. In the future more complex maneuvers would be in store bu...

Re: Transmitter Trouble
Well I figured it out, in the GUI the three little boxes next to "ARM" were turned on, I turned them off and it worked. I also put MINCHECK = 1300 and MAXCHECK=1700 but I'm not sure if that helped or not.

Re: Transmitter Trouble
Well, I'm really new to the whole RC scene so I'm not sure how to setup the radio, or even if I CAN...its a pretty inexpensive Tactic TTX404 4-Channel transmitter. How would I go about adjusting the range? I can adjust the trim for the channel but that only moves the midpoint, giving me a lower low ...

Re: Transmitter Trouble
Should I use my absolute max/min values for all 4 channels (throttle, pitch, roll, yaw) or just the minimum from the throttle channel?

Re: Transmitter Trouble
So change it to:
MINCHECK 1071
MAXCHECK 1977
Is this correct?

Transmitter Trouble
Hi Guys, I am slowly learning about Multiwii and what not but when I mess with the throttle and other sticks on my transmitter in the config program I am only seeing ranges from 1071-1977 (similar on all sticks). I've read about modifying values but I can't find anywhere in the code that deals with ...

Setting Up Software and Calibrating Sensors
Hi all, This is my first post here on the forums. I am working on on a quadrotor project and have just received the airframe/motors/rotors with the Crius MultiWii SE. I plugged it into my laptop to configure the sensors (following one of the "noob" guides) and it just keeps beeping at me w...
