Re: ios+multiwii, appstore release inside, check details, twi

Right, I set all the baud rates for 57k and tested the quad worked with the GUI on a normal BT link to the PC, all was fine. However with the BLE 4.0 module I STILL can't get anything. I keep getting told to check my tx/rx. I would love to use this app and buy the PRO version, but there is no way I ...

Re: ios+multiwii, appstore release inside, check details, twi

Hi, I can connect to the BT module but I keep getting told it can't connect to the quad and to check rx/tx. I have tried the pins both ways round and verified that the module works with another iOS app that lets me send/receive bytes over the serial link. The quad is set to 115200 on all comm ports ...

This is a serious design flaw with this board, they all seem to be breaking off.

It would work with a laptop in the middle. You could use the laptop to show the dual images of a 2D source required even. Less than ideal for 2D work as the LCD would have to show the same image on both halves. Showing a single 2D image would look odd (because the t...

All depends what you want. Many people have AVR board and IMU board. Some have All in one board. Some have AVR and Wii Motion Plus, others add the nunchuk. Check the soldering. Mine was clearly poorly soldered on one side. No where near enough solder to hold the pad.
Plus, the actual pads on each side are small rather than being full ground plane connections.
I would make sure its well soldered but not sure glue will help if it comes loose.

BE CAREFULL with that all in one Pro board.

If that happens you are stuck making up your own cable to connect an FTDI adapter anyway.

Move the mag away from all power circuits. Every mm makes a difference and its the only way to do this, trying shielding is a no-win situation. I had problems like this so I moved the power layer to the bottom of the quad and moved the mag and sensors higher up on the top. It works without issue now.

The PS2 pad restricts motion slightly. If you hack out the edges of the stick holes you can get more movement in all axis.
