don't kill the messenger, I know that this my video is not taken by multirotor, but just wanted to show how accurate can an old BMP085 sensor be, I still can't believe it. on my multirotors I have MS5611 and although it does work better than BMP, it's still no 'Naza like' alt. hold. watch the second...

on gimbal equipped MWC multirotors gimbal servos make all sort of rapid movement during first 3-4 seconds of battery being plugged in, many times I had to unplug them to allow board to initialise properly before this mod, so this surely helps, because no unplugging is needed more, p.s. is there a wa...

Yes, I am aware that servos go to rx on the plane, I emphasysed that in my video, gimbal code would be usefull for HT too if it was giving out the PPMsum for injecting into rc link. so, for now
the only way to fly that IMU(and GY86 I have, same mag orientation) is on good old 8bit atmel?

hope developers will come upon a solution,

you need to define GIMBAL in config section, not multirotor. glad to hear that,
it would be great if you could test if battery would hold from weekend to another(6-7 days),
that's about as long as we put our models unpowered,
if it can only hold a day or two... it's too short. EOSBandi EEPROM hack is 'a must' then.
thanks
