Re: MultiWii 2.2 Alt hold shoots up while flying

Level D-term was 85 all the time. I have tried 70, 80 and 100. Only thing is that with 100 the level mode is like flying with very slow response. Everything under 100 will make the Level mode to work as it was before MW2.1. I do not see any change to ALTitude hold issue. By the way, the same issue w...

Re: MultiWii 2.2 Alt hold shoots up while flying

Problem is only when Alt hold is active and I fly with fixed altitude. Small correction to previous post is that the copter will increase the altitude after couple of seconds while flying fast forward as well. While I fly slowly forward the altidude increases only when I release the roll/pitch stick...

MultiWii 2.2 Alt hold shoots up while flying

I upgraded to MW2.2 with great results with my middle size Hexa. PIDs are tuned OK. Everything seems a little more smoother and better than MW2.1, however Altitude hold is having some issues. While the hex is hovering in Angle mode and I activate the Altitude hold, it's staying in about +/- 20cm are...

Re: 10Hz GPS thread

Upgraded GPS Ublox Neo 6M from RCtimer with EEprom. From now on, the settings won't be lost anymore. m It also has a larger 25x25 antenna. I ordered one last week. We'll see how it behaves. Got my Ublox Neo 6M from RCtimer with EEprom working after tweaking the new I2C GPS code made by EOSBandi: m ...

Re: GPS integration

@Crashpilot1000 What GPS & FW version are you using? I have MTK 1.6 from here: m I do not think MTK FW 1.6 is supporting 57600 with bin mode, thus I'm using 115200 with 10Hz. With 57600 the GPS does not respond here I could not see any benefit of 5Hz and I also disabled GPS filter. How can I eas...

Which version of MW GUI you are using ?
Where i can find ?

Thanks to EOSBandi for this as well!
You can find the gui here: http://code.google.com/p/mw-wingui/downloads/list

Latest dev did not like WinGUI in my laptop. I can not get it working more than few minutes before the gui GPS side halts. With MW2.1 no probs ;)

Re: GPS integration

Hello, Can someone please explain why GPS filtering is not needed in binary mode? I logged today the GPS data with WinGUI and there is few big errors coming in from the I2C GPS. The position jumps suddendly like 30+ meters and comes back with the next measurement. These are not filtered by the FC i...

Re: Altitude Hold improvement solution

Hello, What is the accuracy in altitude hold mode you guys are getting with the latest dev? In MW 2.1 I can easily tune out +/-20cm but in latest dev the hex goes up and down like +/-1m... I'm out of options as everything is tried to get the vibes off from motor/props. I have separate jig to balance...

Re: MultiWii EZ-GUI

Hello, This EZ-GUI "follow me" feature sounds really interesting. However I do not have Android mobile or tablet PC yet. EZ-GUI seems a good reason to go and get one I would like to know more in details about the EZ-GUI before I go and buy a Android based stuff and start banging my head on...

Re: Altitude Hold improvement solution

Mahovik, thanks for sharing the SW. I tried b1 version with few flights in my Hex. I could not get Alt hold working at all even after playing with different PID values. Everytime the altitude hold worked worse than with MW2.1 (+-0.5m). During every test flight and after about 10 seconds the hex sudd...

Re: XAircraft ESCs with Multiwii 2.0

I changed FC to Flyduino and running hexa with Multiwii 2.0. The frame is not as stable as it was when using Multiwii 1.9. When LPF value is commented "//" the copter is shaking like it would do with too big"P". I had to change the LPF to 20Hz but small shake is still there, not ...

Re: XAircraft ESCs with Multiwii 2.0

Replacing Mini Pro to Mega board. Hopefully that will work or else the ESCs need to be reflashed.

XAircraft ESCs with Multiwii 2.0

Hello I'm using XAircraft hexa and their ESCs which require shorter PWM timing. Max and min are 200-1200. I was able to change this range with Multiwii 1.9 with MINCOMMAND and MAXCOMMAND. I'm using PPM receiver. Can I change the ESC timing sameway in Multiwii 2.0 or will the motors 5 and 6 stop work...
