did you try another USB-Port? preferrable one you normally don't use. If this doesn't help, de- and reinstall driver for your ftdi... ....you might try to deinstall all other COM-Devices so that reconnection to the ftdi does faster as the last option I know...

I already found an solution in an german forum:

The idea is: call it an hexa in the sketch and change the motormix in hex so it behaves like quad on the new pin )

In my opinion have fixed throtle as a failsafe is a bit pathetic - when wrongly set (weight change - different batery, without camera), the copter will either fall as a brick or fly away - depend just on weight to thrust ratio - think the NH vario descent is an absolute minimum for failsafe. I would like to see it! I Think it is existentially, not only an option when you have an copter with fpv, cam and other expencive equipment. I definitely would immediately switch back to MW with an stable RTH on failsafe from Naza

where do you get "set maxthrottle to 1864" from? I never read this and I thought SimonK's go the complete way from 1000 to 2000? Why Maxthrottle 1864? Is there any Reason for this?

My 1%: the suggested 1064 for Minthrottle dont't work on my 20A RCT Simonk, I had to up it. I didn't test it with something in between, but 1111 instead of 1064 works for me.

solved (maybe someone esle makes the same mistake as i did): wrong: start with standard PID an increase P right: set I and D to 0, THEN increase P until wobble.... ..yes, without I and D there comes an wobble:-) then increase D (perhaps down P a bit), then I..... ....to be honest I'm still not shure...

When configuring your rx failsafe you must make it send invalid signal like below 985. I did same thing with spektrum rx which remembers which values it should emit under signal lost. this seems to be the way... in WM-GUI and Wingui I can see signal only down to something like 990, then diplay stop...

I had it on serveral MW-Versions with differnt Boards, that the the calibration (NOT Trimming) at least once had to me made by Sticks, otherwise the trimming by sticks wasn't stored. ACC-Calibration by sticks is (when not armed) full roll, full throttle and full yaw left.

I think Peter is right.
When you see Motor High in Gui you are looking at the output from fc to esc, you don't see wat Esc or motor does.... .....so if Motor are high in gui esc cant be the reason...

The only thing I see is: put back MW2.1, experiece the P(ID)'s, calc it with 33/40, go back to MW2.2 (with erase of Eeprom) and put them in by Hand in Gui.... ....I cannot believe this is the only solution?

this sounds interesting for me, since I dont manage to tell my FrSky to send nothing in case of signalloss, but there is an RSSI-Pin. Can it direktly soldert to the defined Arduino-Pin or should there be an resistor in series?
