Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
I tried to access the module with AT commands, but it would not respond. Not with hercules nor with putty. But it is dead now anyways.

Re: Rushduino OSD - Multiwii based open software osd
I thought the capacitor problem only caused a noisy image. Is this still the problem with the 1.2 version of the board? Right now I have an OSD overlay again (changed nothing) and crystal clear, the OSD just seems to freeze now and then. Not something I would go flying with. If I can salvage some ca...

Re: Rushduino OSD - Multiwii based open software osd
Hi, perhaps someone can help me. I flashed my Rushduino OSD V1.2 with the Rush_KV_2.1 firmware. Everything went fine and I installed it on my copter. After a short indoor testflight the video went blank and the LED on the Rushduino was dark. I suspected a problem with the power supply. The only conn...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Flying wing problem - I've flashed R234 to acro naze. Looks OK in GUI and the servos do the expected by TX movements or reacting to the wing being moved. Can enable angle mode by switch with red LED illuminating etc. Just can't get the board to arm ('ARM' doesn't turn green and throttle doesn't get...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Hi, I just did a few testflights with my H6 Copter and my second (green) Naze32 board (r230). (I accidently connected +5V to the TX pin of my blue Naze board yesterday...) Rate mode is no problem (P: 8, I: 0.05 D: 40), but I am not able to get the stable (angle) mode to behave. Looptime is set to 30...

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Ok,
I just played around with various settings and got some strange results in multiwiiconf.
I think, I´ll go for a mechanical solution for now.

Hi,
does "sensor axis swapping" mean I can change the mounting orientation of the board?

Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
Should be. If you feel you are wasting your time at any moment, may I direct you towards DJI products. No thanks, I am perfectly pleased with how my Naze boards perform in my copters. I just tried to install one them in one of my planes (a flying wing) and could not seem to get the setup right. I n...

Re: Quad "jumps" with throttle hold steady
I just did a quick testflight in our livingroom and all problems are gone. My solution was to build a new frame out of 12mm aluminium round tubes instead of the 10mm square ones. The round tubes transfer less vibrations (checked in realtime view) and also weigh less than the square tubes.

Re: Quad "jumps" with throttle hold steady
Thanks for your replies. I just bought these motors, because they vibrate much less than the 2210N (the worse problem is, they loosen themselves from the motor mount). With the old motors, only one of four needed no balancing. I tested the new motors and all four feel the same and vibrate less than ...

Quad "jumps" with throttle hold steady
Hi, I just finished changing the motors of my Crius SE Quad to Suppo 2212/13 1000kV with 8x4.5 slowfly props. During the first testflight I noticed a behaviour that was not there with the old motors (AX-2210N 1000kV). I apply throttle till the quad lifts off and it flies totally stable in gyro only ...

Re: A few questions after the first flight
Thanks for your reply,
I just found this link in another forum, I hope it is alright to post it here, perhaps it helps someone else.
http://www.quadframes.co.uk/MultiWii_1_9_Crius1.zip
Multiwii version 1.9 with definitions for Crius SE and Lite.
Just uploaded it and Mag looks much more reasonable now.

A few questions after the first flight
Hi, yesterday I flew my X-Quad for the first time. I converted it from a KK-Board to a Crius Multiwii SE Board. I calibrated the ACC (also it looked good from the start, 0;0;509) and did not touch Mag calibration then. My two Aux switches are set for Baro and the other one for Level and Level+Mag. I...

Re: Changing mounting direction of CRIUS Multiwii SE
Thanks for your reply, PatrikE.
I will change the boards now and test if I have to turn 45° CW or CCW.

After all, I mounted the board the way it should be. All the messing with V-Tail mixer, etc. leads to a load of possible errors.

Changing mounting direction of CRIUS Multiwii SE
Hi, I just received my CRIUS MultiWii SE Board and want to put it in my Quadcopter. The Quad was originally powered by a KKmulti-Controller and it would save me a great deal of work, if I could change the mounting direction from edge > front to corner > front like the KKmulti. If it is not possible ...
