Re: CG effect and demo of hex flying on 2.0p3
I suppose it's not a problem. That's why we have the stable mode

Re: MWC 2.0 with Magnetron's moving averages
I used what Magnetron suggested for 100 kHz and disabled gyro smoothing: //#################################################################### // Moving Average Gyros by Magnetron1 (Michele Ardito) ########## beta // if the I2C speed is 100kHz use MMGYROVECTORLENGHT from 2 to 6 best was 2 and MMACC...

MWC 2.0 with Magnetron's moving averages
I just installed 2.0 with Magnetron's moving averages and it was very good on my tri! Very flyable and stable mode really was stable. To be fair I also re-calibrated props, set gyro LPF to 188Hz. Anyways my tri flies fine on stable mode and I'm a happy camper now . Just flew one battery though but I...

Re: CG effect and demo of hex flying on 2.0p3
This was my first try on the hexa (or any multicopter), very much like shrediquette. It was a little too small (5" props) for such a noob like me to control. Very responsive to sticks. I first had a KK board and that combined to high KV motors made the darn thing quite aggressive by nature. Two...

Bill's drawing is exactly what I mean.
If you are going to mount a camera on that empty space on front of that lower center plate then the COG should shift more to front.

Re: CG effect and demo of hex flying on 2.0p3
Couldn't you just shorten the front and back arms of the hex a bit to make it more like shrediquette ? I don't know anything about designing a multicopter but common sense says that CG should be near the center of the platform and place the FC there too. Just drawing lines from your front right moto...

Marcin.
That is pretty impressive!
Can you achieve such accuracy with BMP085-baro too?
