Re: Naze32 hardware discussion thread
At the time it happend everybody that was into MultiWii knew what was going on and in the know, so it is not like he took credit. It needed to be done and when things need to just be done, TC just does them. The landscape was quite a bit different when TC originally made the first Naze32/Baseflight ...

kv2200, since baseflight FW is all but dead (and seems most have moved onto F3 and F4 boards now), come over to cleanflight, betaflight or iNav, they are all on RCgroups. Start from cleanflight. FYI, MSP is a simple multiwii serial protocol, mainly for USB to stm32. What i think your looking for in...

i hear you. I happen to get along with him very well, but different strokes for different folks . also, i guess i shouldn't really call it a promini replacement, more of a MW centric promini replacement as it based off the naze32 schematic.

Re: 32bit ProMini replacement - same size, same pinout
i used tc's schematic since i like MW and have a lot of 8bit MW setups, and wanted to go 32bit as i have a first gen naze32, so i talked to tc to see if he would mind if i used his schematic and build a 32bit board that would fit in the 8bit shields. he was cool w/ it, so i made a promini replacement.

it is based off of tc's schematic which is cc-by-nc-sa 3.0. plus i know if tc does this it will be done correctly and a clone will not come out before these , i consider tc a friend and wouldn't do that to him.

Re: 32bit MW Centric ProMini...
Yep. There are a few limitations based on the shields being made for the 8bit ProMini (some of the shields that have voltage dividers would have to be changed because the current revision of the Mini32/ProMini32 has a voltage divider on it, going to the 'bat' pin that is used by the 8bit ProMini). y...

32bit MW Centric ProMini replacement
This is based off of tc's schematic and he knows all about it. STM32F103 board pin compatible w/ the 8bit MultiWii Pro Mini Shields and many sensor boards (sensors must be supported by baseflight). Figured there are probably thousands or tens of thousands of MulitWii Pro Mini Shields out there, thi...

then change them to 1000-2000. you have to understand that you need to set up your radio for multiwii as this is a multiwii controller. read the wiki/setup for multiwii, get the radio setup for that, then since you are using non-flashed escs, set them one by one through the rx after the radio is set...

the BMP180 offers software oversampling that I do not believe was available on the BMP085. Also the timing in getting the data looks to be a bit different than the BMP085, especially when the software oversampling is set. It is kind of just slid in on page 13 of the BMP180 DS - http://www.bosch-sensortec.com/content/ ... 000-07.pdf
